I am experimenting with a number of mediums to find interesting ways to represent natural and urban landscapes, often based on my photography and travel. My current focus is watercolour, at times merged with pen and ink. The website includes my portfolio to date in these mediums plus earlier works in acrylic.

emerging artist

Colin Law is an emerging artist based in Brisbane, and studying at the Brisbane Institute of Art. “I am currently working predominantly with watercolour, but have also experimented with ink drawings, acrylic and charcoal. The subjects that interest me are city and outdoor landscapes presented in an abstract way, portraiture and documenting contemporary scenes.”
